It's all fun & Games Blogfest & Monday's Poems

3 of my favorite games.

Sorry for the mishap I'm not sure what happened.

If I'm playing a game solo my favorite game is Mahjong! Puzzle games are just to hard to resist.

Multiple player game would be pool, bowling. It's hard to really choose only 3 games.

Any word games or a charade game. I'm a bit competitive but a good sport if I lose.
thanks for playing!!!!

Spoiled Brat
By: Shel Silverstein
The spoiled brat cut a hole in her hat,
The spoiled brat put a coat on the cat,
The spoiled brat got into a spat
'Bout whether a rodent's a mouse or a rat.

The spoiled brat broke a bike with her bat,
The spoiled brat told the policeman to scat,
The spoiled brat said her sister was fat,
And sat on her birthday cake 'til it was flat.

The spoiled brat, she cussed and she spat,
The spoiled brat pulled the wings off a gnat,
The spoiled brat fell into a vat,
Got cooked up for dinner and that was that.

But in spite of the pepper,
The salt and the sage,
The onions and garlic and oil,
Nobody would touch
A bite of that brat
Because she was so spoiled.

I have never played Mahjong. But you're the third person who's mentioned it, so now I want to.

Thanks for the poem. It definitely is a good reminder of why being spoiled has its downside.

I use to love pool. We have a table in our basement but we never play any more. I'm a new follower from the blogfest.

I have a Mah Jong bracelet I got in Hong Kong. I always get comments on it. The Chinese say you wear it to remind you that you win some and you lose some. I just love that!

I found many couldn't pick just three, but if I'd said ten, everyone would've freaked!
Thanks for participating in the blogfest.

Pool/billiards - a great choice! We grew up with a table in the basement, so I was quite the hustler by the age of 10. Took my uncle for $5 one time!

Bowling is a great game. I like playing all those games.

The pig game -- you roll the pigs like dice. How they land determines how many points you get. It's sort of like Yahtze.

I forgot all about puzzled. I love crossword puzzles. Bowling is a blast, even if I don't get out and do much bowling.

I didn't even think of bowling! I also love putt-putt. That poem was funny! Thanks for sharing some Shel!

Love Charades, but only the english version, I am really bad at charades in Norwegian. Nice poem!
