Mondays poems

This is one of my favorite poems. With the cold weather it goes hand in hand. =)

The Germ
By: Ogden Nash

A mighty creature is the germ
Though smaller than the pachyderm
His customary dwelling place
Is deep within the human race
His childish pride he often pleases
By giving people strange dideases
Do you, my puppet, feel infirm?
You probably contain a germ

Ogden Nash could always say more in a few words than many authors could say in a book. He was a wonderful and entertaining wordsmith.

Hi there. Just clicked over from your mom's blog.

I tried to follow, but google is freaking out, so I'm not sure if it took.

Let me know if it didn't.
