Missing In Action!!!!

Hello everyone,

I just wanted to let everyone know that I am okay. I had a ruff last six months of the year. I was in a car accident and then I had no Internet. Once I got the Internet back up my computer got a virus. Once I was able to replace it and get started up I had to move and shortly after that I got pneumonia for the third time. Once I was almost fully recovered my mom got severely ill and I have been taking care of her since. I have not been able to get a job not only due to the economy but the risk of leaving her alone to long is not worth it. This definitely has been the worst year of my life. Looking back I really can't believe all of this happened, honestly it's like a bad dream. LOL. I am sorry for my absence to all of you and the absence to my business. I really missed reading all of your posts and I can't wait to get my head in more books. I hope everyone had a wonderful holiday and I hope the New Year brings great things to everyone.

I Like to See it Lap the Miles
By: Emily Dickinson

I like to see it lap the miles,
And lick the valleys up,
And stop to feed itself at tanks;
And then, prodigious, step

Around a pile of mountains,
And, supercilious, peer
In shanties by the sides of roads;
And then a quarry pare

To fit its sides, and crawl between,
Complaining all the while
In horrid, hooting stanza;
Then chase itself down hill

And neigh like Boanerges;
Then, punctual as a star,
Stop--docile and omnipotent--
At its own stable door.

Monday's Poems

The Cow
By: Robert Louis Steveson

The friendly cow all red and white
I love with all my heart:
She gives me cream with all her might,
To eat with apple-tart
She wanders lowing here and there,
And yet she cannot stray,
All in the pleasant open air,
The pleasant light of day;
And blown by all the winds that pass
And wet with all the showers,
She walks among the meadow grass
And eats the meadow flowers.

Today is one of my favorite holidays. I found it more enjoyable once my son saw the fireworks for the first time. Kids always make things better. =) Happy 4th of July!

Feeding Time
By: Shel Silverstein

Oh alligator, palligator, get up out of bed.
It's breakfast time and I can't find
Our keeper Mister Fred.
He smokes a pipe and wears a little
Derby on his head,
And he was' sposed to meet me here
To help to get you fed.
